| Einstein in Jerusalem
A New Exhibition at the Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem
One hundred years ago, within a single year, a 26-year-old patent clerk in Switzerland used his free time to write four articles on physics that shaped what we know about our world.
In our segment we will present the Einstein's 1905 papers, and try and see how each of them affected the way we see the world.
We will demonstrate Brownian Motion and show how Einstein's insight of this phenomenon led to a better understanding of the microscopic structure of matter.
We discuss some of the basic concepts of relativity and try to understand how (and if) they affect us.
We explore Einstein's special relationship with the State of Israel and the Hebrew University.
Einstein, an exhibition on:
The outstanding student (not the failure of popular legend)
The man whose image adorns beer mugs, T-shirts, and socks (though he never wore a pair)
The man who got hundreds of letters from children and answered them all
The man whose political views made him a “security risk” and banned him from the Manhattan Project.
